For when the frame should be unmistakably Cinerune — not pretending to be a film camera or a CRT, but a look that belongs to nothing else.
What this collection is for
Most looks reach backward — toward film stock, toward broadcast, toward the warm failures of old hardware. These reach somewhere else entirely: caustic glass, holographic interference, liquid crystal, heat bending the air. Pure shader work that has no analog ancestor to imitate.
Use this collection when you don't want a reference, you want a fingerprint. The frame should not say “this looks like a film” — it should say this could only have been made here.
What a preset actually is
A preset is a layered recipe, not a black box. Load one and you see exactly what it bound — every effect, its intensity, its target — and you can edit any of it. These were designed by someone making a particular kind of look on purpose.
The presets
- shaderfam-glass-cathedral — light fractured through a vault of caustic glass, vast and reverent.
- shaderfam-neon-through-rain — color smeared through water on a window, the city dissolved into glow.
- shaderfam-wet-lens-oracle — the image seen through a rain-beaded lens, prophetic and unclear.
- shaderfam-panic-phone — a small bright screen losing its composure, urgency rendered in pixels.
- shaderfam-panel-drift — slabs of light sliding past each other, a calm mechanical procession.
- shaderfam-oled-night — absolute black with one accent burning, the look of a phone in the dark.
- shaderfam-foil-vision — the surface turned to crumpled metallic foil, every fold catching light.
- shaderfam-prism-ui — a clean interface refracting into spectral edges, precise and iridescent.
- shaderfam-luxury-hologram — the expensive shimmer of a security hologram, value you can tilt.
- shaderfam-heat-mirage — the air itself bending, the frame wavering above hot asphalt.
- shaderfam-burning-core — something incandescent at the center, heat radiating outward through the image.
- shaderfam-hot-signal — a transmission running too hot, the picture glowing at its limits.
- shaderfam-stream-collapse — the feed folding in on itself, structure giving way under load.
- shaderfam-codec-panic — the compressor losing the plot, the image surrendering to its own math.
- shaderfam-bitrate-funeral — the slow, dignified death of a starved stream, decay with composure.
- shaderfam-banknote-portrait — the subject engraved like currency, fine lines and sovereign weight.
- shaderfam-noir-engraving — hard etched line and ink, a portrait cut into a printing plate.
- shaderfam-drafting-plate — the frame rendered as a precise technical drawing, cold and exact.
How to load one
Presets load from the Presets panel in the editor — loading one drops its full layer stack onto the timeline ready to edit.
